Samsung lists 9 Galaxy S20 to S22 phones for eSIM

Samsung's own US SIM cards page names the Galaxy S22 series, S21 series and S20 series among Hybrid eSIM devices that support dual SIM features.
Samsung lists the S20 FE and S21 FE separately
Samsung Australia's own list does not include the Galaxy S20 FE or Galaxy S21 FE. Samsung's own US page names both under Unlocked Dual Physical SIM devices. That section describes 2 physical SIMs, and no eSIM is named for these 2 FE models. The same US page says only devices unlocked by Samsung can support Dual Physical SIM.
The older S22 page uses different menu names
Samsung UK's own Galaxy S22 page is marked Updated : 3rd May, 2022. It names the menu path Settings, Connections, SIM card manager, Add mobile plan. It also lists Preferred SIM card and Auto data switching. Auto data switching sets the phone to use another SIM card for data if the preferred SIM card cannot connect to the network.
That Samsung page says SIMs can go on both the front and back of the dual SIM card tray, with the gold-coloured contacts facing outwards, and says to use only a nano-SIM card. Samsung's own newer S24 page uses SIM manager and Add eSIM, so the menu wording differs between those pages.
Check the region, provider and model before buying
Samsung UK's own S22 page says using a nano-SIM and eSIM at the same time may result in slower data transfer speeds in some areas. It also says eSIM usage may be unavailable depending on the region, service provider, or model. Samsung's pages for this family do not state a model-by-model dual eSIM rule, so no dual-eSIM rule is stated here. Check the exact model, region, and provider before buying an eSIM plan.
