The two Samsung lists differ on the original Fold and Z TriFold
Samsung Australia's list covers the original Galaxy Fold and Z Fold2 through Z Fold7. For the Galaxy Z Fold7, Samsung says to place the device on a flat surface with the screen face up and the camera side down. For the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Fold5, its instructions say to place the device with the screen face down and the camera side facing up. For the Galaxy Z TriFold, Samsung says to fully unfold the device because its SIM tray is on the left side.
The Fold check depends on country of origin and carrier status
Samsung's US page says eSIM may not be supported depending on the country of origin. Below the Hybrid eSIM list it also says carrier devices do not support "these features" and that only devices unlocked by Samsung can support Dual Physical SIM. Samsung does not say how that note applies to the Fold models, and the list above it still names them.
Samsung Australia's page says its guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, so settings and steps may vary elsewhere. Check the phone's country of origin before buying a plan, and ask your carrier about eSIM support.
