Phones bought in the United States
Google's own Get a SIM or eSIM page marks its physical-SIM rule as US only. It says a physical SIM cannot be used with a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, or Pixel 10 Pro XL. Google's dual SIM page, also read September 30, 2026, says a Pixel 10 or later phone can use only an eSIM, except for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. For phones bought in the United States, that makes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL eSIM only, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the exception. Google's pages give no physical-SIM rule for Pixel 10 phones bought outside the United States.
Two eSIMs on one Pixel 10
Google's dual SIM page says a phone and its carrier can support either 2 eSIMs or 1 eSIM and 1 physical SIM. It says 2 eSIM profiles at once require a Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, or later phone and a carrier that allows the feature. The Pixel 10 family is later than the Pixel 7, so the family meets Google's model requirement. For a US-bought Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, or Pixel 10 Pro XL, the physical-SIM option does not apply under Google's US rule, so the dual setup is 2 eSIMs when the carrier allows it. Google names the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as the only Pixel 10 model excepted from the eSIM-only rule.
What to check before you buy an eSIM plan
Google's pages say eSIM and dual SIM work with some mobile carriers and tell you to ask your carrier whether they will work on your phone.
